    People tend to cherish traditionally masculine values, such as; ambition, achievement, the acquisition of material goods, and sex-specific roles for women and men--preferring that men hold the wage-earning and decision-making positions (ex: corporate executive) while women occupy the nurturing positions (ex: homemaker).

    Austria, Japan and Mexico are some examples.
