Which end of the visible light spectrum (violet or red) has the greatest energy?

Remember everyone's favorite rainbow Roy G. Biv. The beauty of this name is that the colors of the rainbow are listed in order from the least energetic to the highest energy. So R is first, that means that red has the lowest energy. V is last that means that violet has the highest energy.
