Can anyone who did the IB diploma program in high school give me some advice and information on how its like, if its worth it, etc ...

It's hard but it was worth it. As long as you study and have a good work ethic it's going to be a great experience. Make sure to chose IB classes on things that you will be hoping to pursue in the future (f. x if you want to be a doctor do Biology). But there's a downside, not that many colleges accept IB. But in my opinion you should do it
