Consider the numerous pseudoscientific products and ideologies currently being marketed to the public, such as magnetic therapy, therapeutic touch, homeopathy. What are the eithical concerns with the sale of these ideas public? Should proponents of these various products and therapies be held accountable for any health concerns arising from the use of these products?

    Yes proponents of these products should be held accountable and they must be asked to inform the general public about all the pros and cons and the risk associated with these product.

    Explanation:

    Therapies like magnetic and touch generates various harmful radiation that slowly damages some organs of body. Homeopathy is different way of treating medical issues, whose effect is gradual and sometimes even doubtful that it has any effect also. Ethical issue is that all the details are not provided to people or targeted consumer or even if provided only in disguised manner so that they can not be sued later. This creates ethical issue of denial of informed choice. For the monetary benefits of such proponent life of other should not be put at risk.
