If you have 12 chickens and each of them lay 2 eggs how many chickens will you have?

    there are 12 chickens and their are 2 eggs per chicken it's pretty simple.

    Since two eggs come from each chicken you multiply 12 X 2 which is 24. then you add how many of the original chickens you have to 24 and you get 72!

    (you could also multiply 12 by 3)
