    Mass = #of protons (atomic number) + #of neutrons

    So

    # of neutrons = mass - #of protons (atomic number)

    Therefore

    14 (mass) - 7 (#of protons/atomic number) = 7 (#of neutrons)

    The answer is c.) 7 neutrons
