Technician A says that manipulating the laws of radiation and convection is what allows an air conditioner to function. Technician B says that refrigerant changes state as it circulates in the A/C system. Who is correct?

    I believe Technician B is correct; I researched a bit and found that air conditioners use chemicals that readily/easily convert from gas to liquid and back to gas.
