    X^6+y^6=1 d/dx x^6+d/dx y^6=d/dx 1 6x^5+6y^5y'=0 6y^5y'=-6x^5 y' (6y^5) = - 6x^5 y' = (-6x^5) / (6y^5) now for y'' use the quotient rule.
