    European countries no longer have any direct influence on the Arab nations, and if they do, then it would be so in cooperation with the US so the US would not be against it (we reject option b). Also the US is not advocating for the establishment of United Nations control over the Middle East - so we reject c) as well.

    Now, the US does not specifically advocate for an equal access for all nations to the oil reserves of the Middle East - it wants this access for itself, so d) is also false!
