The Endurance Crater was about 150 meters in diameter and about 20 meters deep. The wall of the crater contains layered rock and is laden with blueberry-like rocks. In the upper reaches of the crater, the "blueberries"are perfectly round spheres of hematite, but the rocks in the lower reaches of the crater look like popcorn and have a coating of salts.
