Early churches were based on the Roman basilica plan. What were the doorways of a basilica plan church collectively called?

    The doorways of basically plan church is called The portal

    In it's latin language, the doorways si called Porta Sancta which translated to Holy Portal.

    The door itself usually cemented from the inside so no people from outside could come in. But on special occasion such as Jubilee, the pope ceremoniously will open this door
