How is boucher's style in the painting above different from that seen in works from other rococo artists?

    He broke away from many innocent depictions of wealthy woman being depicted in the rococo era and began (influenced by rubenesque woman or more specifically Rubens himself) there was a depicted form of erotica that was considered so extremely avant-gard. He would take a typical genre scene and use his wife and children as models. one of the most famous and scandalous paintings he created was Odalisque where he depicted his wife as a prostitute who has dark hair and a mysterious facade which was very different than the normal fluffy brushed, flirty, pale skinned rococo paintings
