    The Baroque era dates roughly from 1600 to 1750. Some examples of Baroque composers/performers: Monteverdi, Bach, Purcell, Handel, and Corelli. The Classical era dates roughly from the mid-1700s to the mid-1800s. Some Classical composers: Mozart, Haydn, and (through much but not all of his career) Beethoven.
