It all began with the advent of the industrial revolution. this had given birth to the rise of the middle and working class populations all who were so ready to pay and congregate to listen to, and enjoy music.

The industrial revolution also brought about major improvements to musical instruments which could be played with much ease and reliability. The composers of this period wrote their music, then based public concerts and festivals. As a result, this drew a lot of audiences who were ready to pay for music that was relevant to them.
