    Country music originated in the southern parts of the United States in the 1920s. It traces back to the folk music mainly Appalachian. The music is vocal in a simple form of harmony. The music is often ballads and romantic, played with harmonica, violin, banjo, and guitar. Bluegrass, Outlaw Country, Honky Tonk, Gospel are some of the genre of the country music, considered to be powerful and emotional because they tell a story.
