In the year 1984, Marceau along with her dance partner Dulaine co-founded American Ballroom Theater. They both won numerous ballroom dance contests together. They were also four-time winners of the British Exhibition ballroom competition. The duo also introduced Ballroom Theatre's Dancing Classrooms program, which is also featured in the documentary 'Mad Hot Ballroom'.
