argument of lack of experimentation : the term science as used for physical science include the twin processes of experiment and prediction. But it is arguedthat the universally accepted scientific method of observation and science cannot be applied in the study of society. It does not possess the instruments like the microscope and the thermometer to measure human behavior.

    2) lack of measurement : it is further argued that sociology is not a science because it cannot measure it subject matter. In physics or chemistry the subject matter is exhaustively measured by instruments.
