How is intaglio printing different from relief printing?

    The main differences between both the intaglio and the relief is that they are basically the opposite of each other. Intaglio is when the ink is pressed into the etched lines while wiping the remaining ink off the surface. Relief printing is when the ink sits on the surface and not in the grooves. Jun 5, 2014
