Explain one way in which confucianism affected the style or subject matter of Chinese art

Chinese: 中國藝術/中国艺术 is art, both ancient and modern, that originated in or is practiced in China or by Chinese artists or performers. The Chinese art in the Republic of China (Taiwan) and that of overseas Chinese can also be considered part of Chinese art where it is based in or draws on Chinese heritage and Chinese culture. Traditional Chinese art is influenced by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
