Eukaryotic cells contain membrane bound organelles such as the nucleus, while the prokaryotes cells do not. Prokaryotes are single-celled organisms belonging to the domains Bacteria and Archaea. They are much smaller than eukaryotic cells, have no nucleus, and lack organelles. Differences in cellular structure of prokaryotes and eukaryotes include the presence of mitochondria and chloroplasts, the cell wall, and the structure of chromosomal DNA. Eukaryotic cells are usually multicellular with membrane bound organelles such as nucleus, mitochondria.
