From broader to more specific, the order of organism classification hierarchy is Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.

Organisms are classified based on their morphological and biological similarities and there are 8 different levels of classification. This classification is part of a specific branch of the biological science, called taxonomy. The Domain is the broadest level of classification and each successive level has fewer but more similar organisms.
