In systolic heart failure, what effect does angiotensin ii have on stroke volume?

Angiotensin is a peptide hormone that causes vasoconstriction and results in an increase in blood pressure. Angiotensin I is converted in to angiotensin II through the removal of two C terminal by the enzyme angiotensin converting enzyme. Angiotensin II acts on the CNS to increase the vasopressin and also acts on the venous system, arterial vessels to cause vasoconstriction. This also increase the aldosterone secretion, therefore it acts as an endocrine, autocrine and paracrine hormone.
