    Radiometric dating can also be referred to as radioactive dating and is a technique used to date rock and other object that contain radioactive impurities incorporated into them when they were formed. However, scientist used this technique to provide significant source of information about the ages of fossils and used it to date archaeological artifacts such as ancient’s artifacts or man-made materials.
