The nurses main goal is to make sure the patient receives proper treatment. Proper treatment isn't always an easy decision but it is one that must be considered. Though the patient is not obligated to take any advice or recommendation given by any health care professional, the patient should still consider those options as nurses are certified to make those recommendations.
