Answer: B - Acute diseases appear, decline or disappear, then never reappear.

Acute diseases usually last a short time, they have a very rapid onset. A cold is a good example of an acute disease.

On the other hand chronic disease persist for a long time, three months or more, can't be prevented by vaccines, can't be cured by medication and they don't disappear.
