    I believe the statement is true.

    Elbow forms a hinge joint which allows a flexion and extension. The elbow joint occurs at the junction the humerus or upper arm bone, the ulna which is the larger of the two fore arm bones and the radius bone. Humerus forms the upper part of the joint and widens near the end to form the medial and lateral epicondyles which are the two bony processes felt either side of the elbow joint.
