    Axial bone is part of the bone that makes the head/skull and the trunk. The axial consist of skull, vertebrae, ribs.

    Appendage bone is the portion of the bone that was used to support appendages. In short, its the bone that was not located in the trunk and the head. It consists of the bone in the legs, arms, and pelvis. The example would be femur, tibia, fibula, humerus, radius, ulna.
