If you were hiking and wanted to find a source of freshwater to drink what would you look for

    If you were in a grassland, plain or other dry climate you would look for ravines or patches of green in the vast yellows and browns. in an area like the woodlands you look for splits in the tree line, listen for the stream, or find limestone (which is typically wasted away by water). if not any of these bamboo or other woody grasses and vines carry water in them.
