What is the function of interstitial fluid?

    Interstitial fluid can also be refers to as tissue fluid and it known as the solution that surrounds and bathes the tissue cells of multicellular animals. Interstitial fluids are the main components of extracellular fluid which also contain transcellular fluid and plasma. Also, interstitial fluid is found in space in between cells known as tissue space. They function by providing a means of delivering materials to the cells as and removal of metabolic waste.
