Describe the adverse consequences of excessive alcohol intake and college students

Drinking too much can take a serious toll on one's health. The short term effects include drowsiness, slurring speech, sleep disruption and lowering of body temperature. Any short term effect can be amplified when alcohol is consumed with mind altering substances like drugs. Side effects include hangover, weight gain, depression, cancer, liver damage. Long term consumption of alcohol causes death of brain cells, pancreatitis.

College students in present generation have no idea about how their health is being spoilt. They are consuming a lot of alcohol in parties and other functions. Awareness should be created among them.
