    Both plants and animals have stem cells.

    Stem cells are important because they can differentiate into any other type of cell in the body and they are the only cells that are capable of that.

    Stem cells do not produce haploid cells, they produce germinative cells that later become haploid in the process of meiosis

    So, answers 2,3 and 4 are correct.
