Reflex behaviors are automatic responses to various stimuli experienced. These can include such actions as the pupils contracting in the presence of light, or the "knee-j erk" reaction when the knee bone is tapped. Humans do not have any control over these reactions. Instinctive behavior, sometimes called innate behavior, are learned responses that are usually common across an entire species. One example of this would be how humans often smile when they are happy.
