Imagine climate change causes an increase in global temperature, polar ice melts, and sea levels on earth rise. the organisms in this study live in a coastal marsh. global warming has caused flooding and the once marshy habitat is underwater. which group would most likely survive and reproduce in this new habitat?

    Group E with webbed hands and feet that can be used to swim in this underwater habitat.

    I would guess that any organisms inhabiting the coastal marsh that have gills could adapt well to a permanently marine environment. Those with lungs would not have sufficient time to adapt. These organisms would probably include fish species and aquatic molluscs such as snails and clams.
