    Nasal concha is a long, curled bone which formes the upper chambers of the nasal cavities. It increases the surface area of these cavities and regulates the mechanism of breathing. Nasal concha has a possibility to direct the inspired air and thus increase the number of scent molecules to the olfaction receptors.
