prokaryotes e. g bacteria and cyanobacteria, have small ribosomes (70S),

while eukaryotes e. g mammals, fungi,

have slightly larger ribosomes (80S).

So both prokaryotes and eukaryotes have ribosomes in which proteins are synthesized, just a small size difference.
