    This statement is false.

Gynoid fat ("pear-shaped fat") is the body form with fat around the hips, breasts and thighs. It is not associated with diseases as android fat.

Android fat ("apple-shaped fat") refers to the distribution of human adipose tissue around the trunk in areas such as the abdomen, chest, shoulder and nape of the neck. It is also called central obesity. Diabetes and gout are diseases often related to central obesity.
