    rocks

Rocks provide pieces of evidence of the continental drift as the same type of rocks were found in different continents, as a proof that the same events happened in the past. This is valid for the older rocks more than the new ones, as the new ones dervied from different bases, provide a prrof that their position had changed,

    fossils

Fossils provide pieces of evidence of the continental drift much like rocks. Same types of animals or plants were found in Congo and in Brazil, for example, providing a good proof that ones on the two continents were the same big one. This is perhaps one of the biggest proof of the continental drift.

    climate

Climate provides pieces of evidence of the continental drift because it was what influenced the presences of certain types of rocks and fossils, as it was the environment around which those elements lived. The fact that was possible to find certain rocks or fossils constitutes a proof of the presence of certain climate, which is a proof that in the past the continent where ina different position.
