What are the differences between hormone and enzyme?

    A hormone is a chemical substance produced in minute quantities by glands and their effects may be short lived or long-lived.

    A enzyme is a biological catalyst and their effects are often long-lived

    ah yes the most significant difference is that enzyme is responsible for chemical reactions in organism while hormones role is to control target organs in hormonal control
