    The answer is double sugar or dysacharide. In addition, the carbohydrates in which also named saccharides are molecular compounds thru from just three elements the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Monosaccharides in which an example is glucose and disaccharides in which an example is sucrose are relatively small molecules in relevant they are often called sugars.
