Schizophrenia symptom in this scene is a negative symptom. The emt was emotionally flat or looked like was disconnected. Emt showed little interest in life. Emt was unable to follow through the activity for the other people who were crying with fear and grief. Negative symptoms can be confused with clinical depression.
