DNA hybridizes with RNA, except in the intron regions where complimentary RNA has removed from mRNA.

The loop is formed in the DNA in between exons and it happens in splicing.

DNA polymerase can only add new nucleotides to an existing strand of DNA while RNA can synthesis RNA without the need for existing primer or strand
