Many of Earth's nonrenewable resources are very rare. Other nonrenewable resources, such as coal, are abundant but not easily replaced. What would happen if we used up all the coal on Earth?

A. It is impossible to use all the coal in the world.

B. More coal could quickly be formed underneath the Earth's surface.
