Lactase is an enzyme found in the digestive tract that digests lactose a common carbohydate found in milk. Would the genes for lactase be turned on or off after eating cheese and why?

    It would be turned on after eating cheese so that the enzyme lactase could digest the carbohydrate lactose thats inside cheese.
