In a lab about the activity series, a solution of copper (II) chloride is placed in a test tube with zinc metal. If zinc is higher up on the activity series, it will produce a reaction and replace the copper. Bits of copper are seen in the bottom of the test tube. A good conclusion would be? A) Zinc is lower on the activity series because there is no evidence of a reaction. B) Zinc is higher on the activity series because there is no evidence of a reaction. C) Zinc is lower on the activity series because there is clear evidence of a reaction. D) Zinc is higher on the activity series because there is clear evidence of a reaction.
