    D) Shivering

    Because it keeps all of the muscles in constant movement. Allowing them to keep from freezing and causing hypothermia.

    I think it could be B or D. Perspiring cools you down when you're hot, but shivering warms you up when you are cold. those are both examples of homeostasis.
