Most likely signs to indicate that the hip has dislocated are; shortening of affected leg in addition with painful telescoping of the limb. The client can also experience a sudden onset of pain with a snapping feeling, and the inability to walk or move the affected leg. Physical examination under fluoroscopy can be carried out for an accurate record after dislocation.
