I believe process of hormones secretion from the pancreas takes place in the following order; High amount of glucose in the blood, this triggers the Sending signals towards the pancrease, consequently, synthesis of hormones by beta cells, then, binding of hormones with receptors on the liver sequence, the release of hormone from the receptors, and then intake of glucose molecules from the blood by specific transporters. When blood sugar levels are high an impulse is sent to the brain which in turn sends a signal to the brain that makes pancrease to release hormone insulin which triggers mechanism that reduces or lowers the amount of blood sugar back to normal. On the other hand, low glucose concentration triggers a signal to the pancrease which releases hormone glucagon that enhances mechanisms the increases glucose concentration back to normal.
