    The better the organism will be able to make fine distinctions related to that stimulus. If you had one or two video cameras recording an event, you might be able to see a general representation of that event. If you had dozens of video cameras recording the same event, you would be able to distinguish every detail, however small, within the video. The more cameras you have focused on the event, the more distinctions you can make because of the amount of information gathered. The more sensory neurons are tuned to a feature of a stimulus, the more information is gathered to make fine distinctions related to the stimulus.
