Does osmosis occur when a cell is in an isotonic solution

    Yes.

    isotonic solution is where the concentration of solution is same with the concentration of the cell itself.

    water molecules still flow from higher region of water potential to lower, but since both concentration are the same, the movement of each side is equal. But still, osmosis exists when there's a semi permeable membrane.
