    About 90%. In a typical diet, 60% of calories should come from basic carbohydrates. 30% of daily calories should come from fat. The remainder is typically protein which makes up about 10%. These values certainly can change depending on lifestyle, i. e., a bodybuilder would need a lot more protein.
